What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural state that we enter into many times a day. It is when our critical mind is switched off and we become absorbed in something, simply daydream.
In Hypnotherapy we simply use the natural state of hypnosis to allow us to access both the conscious and subconscious mind. Through this natural state of deep absorption and openness, new thought habits can be introduced deeply into the mind.
Not at all! You stay in control all the time. I cannot make you do anything you do not want to do.You will be in a deep state of relaxation.
Sessions such as smoking, nail biting, slimming, pre-test nerves usually require a single session of a few hours and the success rate is surprisingly high. The more deep-rooted, nervous disorders require ‘analytical’ rather than ‘suggestion’ therapy which usually consists of 8 weekly sessions effective treatment.

Hypnoband or the Virtual Gastric Band is a technique where a hypnotic suggestion is added in a process of 4 weeks to create a suggestion in the mind that the stomach has been reduced leading to eating less. It is not a quick fix, lose weight option in a short period of time. The hypnoband is for long term weight loss and management. No surgery takes place physically. All suggestions are virtual.
